Pressure Washing

Our Pressure Washing Process

Pressure washing brings an instant facelift to hardscape of all kinds, from driveways to patios to pavers! Our process for this service at Beautiful Day takes the whole area into account: from the loose debris, to the stuck-on grime, to the overspray that needs to be rinsed down afterwards. We are careful and thorough in our approach to make sure that every speck of grime is gone. See ya, moss!

Prep the Area

Never underestimate how much of a mess pressure washing makes! We seek to move as many things away from the area as we can so that our clients’ planters, outdoor furniture, vehicles, etc aren’t getting broken or doused in muddy overspray.

Remove Loose Debris

Most debris can be blown off with a leaf blower, but occasionally we will break out the scrapers to remove any thick mats of moss before the pressure washers come out. Rest assured that we clean up any debris we remove - we won’t leave big piles of leaves and moss on your lawn for you to deal with later.

Wash

This is the fun part! We methodically wash the targeted areas in strategic patterns to keep all the gunk moving away from the buildings and out to the street where we can catch contaminants in our filter barriers before the water drains away. Our goal is to avoid leaving behind any mossy spots, or making “stripes” on the surface.

Rinse

We like to say “we are only as good as our cleanup!” We make sure to rinse from one end of the area to the other, using chalk to circle any spots that need to be touched up. Finally we spray down anything that got blasted with overspray so that none of the mud or grime remains to spoil the finished result.
